Join the giant Landguard Bunny for The Great Felixstowe Museum Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday 4 and 11 April. Search the Museum for the coloured eggs, then exchange them for a yummy reward! Two sessions at 1230-1400 and 1430-1600. Children £3.00, adults £2.00. Pre-booking essential.

Hunt out the clues around the historic Landguard Fort, with a Easter Trail running from Friday 30 March to Sunday 15 April (1000-1600). Normal admission charges for the Fort apply, plus £1.50 for a trail sheet (including a Landguard Fort pencil).

Buy local - visit our family-run butchers and bakers to pick up your Easter food and drink.
- Seasonal lamb is great for the big family dinner. Order your racks and joints at The Deben Butcher on Hamilton Road, S. J. Summers at High Road West, Orwells Butchers in Walton High Street or Michael's Butchers Limited at High Road East.
- There is nothing like the smell of freshly baked hot cross buns. Pick them up at The Bread Basket in Walton High Street, or The Bakery in Hamilton Road.
- Chocoholics should head to Sweet Treats on Hamilton Road... our Willy Wonka emporium of chocolate and other confectionery delights.

Special events and activities for the Easter holidays.

The Spa Pavilion have Easter fun for the family. Click your ruby heels together and head over the rainbow for their magical pantomime, The Wizard of Oz on Friday 6 April (performances at 1400 and 1800). Then on Friday 13 (1930) and Saturday 14 (1430 and 1930) April, enjoy Disney's High School Musical packed with catchy songs and exciting dance routines. Pre-booking essential for all events.

Keep them amused with Premier Education at Felixstowe Academy (Maidstone Campus). Themed Activity Days run Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 April; Monday 9 to Friday 13 April (0900-1530, or extended option of 0830-1700). Have fun, learn new skills and stay active! All the fun of the Easter Fun Fair on the seafront (Felixstowe Beachside Events Area) from Friday 30 March to Monday 2 April (1100-2200). Brave the exciting rides and try your luck on the stalls and sideshows. Individual prices for rides, etc.

Easter in FelixstoweDiscover A Tableful of Treasures with Beach Bonkers on Monday 2 April. 1100-1500 at the Visit Felixstowe Tourist Information Centre beach hut (opposite the Town Hall). Handle and explore with Kate. Admission free.

Amazing living history with The 95th Rifles at Landguard Fort on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April (1000-1600). A weekend of soldiering, musketry and drill. Normal admission charges for the Fort apply.

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club is the venue for the first 'Art at the Ferry' on Saturday 31 March (1000-1600). An exhibition of local artists' work available to view and buy, including paintings, photos, ceramics, jewellery and willow work. Admission free.

EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospices) are holding their Easter Coffee Morning at the United Reformed Church Hall on Saturday 31 March (1000-1230). Craft stalls, tombola, cakes and books. Entry £2.00, including refreshments.

Great live music at The Fludyers Hotel for Easter Day (Sunday 1 April). Local vocalist Casper Clarke, following by a disco from 2000. Admission free.

Join the Ranger at the Landguard Nature Reserve for Bird Watching for Beginners on Friday 6 and 13 April (1000-1130) - and learn more about our feathered friends. For ages 7-11 years. £3.00. Pre-booking essential.

Felixstowe offers plenty of great days by the sea...
Pop down to the seafront to play the fun games at Felixstowe Pier; challenge your friends to a round of Adventure Golf; or all aboard the Railroad Express at Ocean Boulevard. Manning's Amusements have a day of Fun Centre Activities on Wednesday 4 April (from 1100). Create sand art or foam clay with Creative 'N' Craft, and play some crazy golf. £6.00 per child. Pre-booking essential.

Enjoy the seasonal sounds and music of Easter.

Join Churches Together in Felixstowe for the Good Friday Open Air Service at the Triangle Canopy on Friday 30 March (1045-1200). A church service with songs, sermon and a short dramatic reading. On Easter Sunday (1 April) there is also a Easter Day Sunrise Service on the Pier Plaza at 0615 to celebrate the resurrection at dawn.

Music in Felixstowe and The Gippeswyk Singers bring the St John Passion by JS Bach to St. John's Church on Friday 30 March (1930). An expressive and dramatic oratorio which takes us through the fiercely sorrowful events of Good Friday. However, it is also a deeply reflective and optimistic piece. Bach's music becomes infused with light and hope as it leads us with great beauty to the promise of the redeeming love of the Resurrection. Tickets £15.00. Pre-booking essential.
