Felixstowe Book Festival returns for a sixth year of talks, readings, book signings and workshops to entertain adults and children.

Fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Competitions - adult short story and young people's writing. Film screenings and an evening of Brazilian music.

This year the event is being held at a host of different venues: The Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe Library, Harvest House, a shipping container at the Felixstowe Beachside Events Area, the Visit Felixstowe Tourist Information Centre beach hut, Beach Hut 22, Town Hall Gardens, Felixstowe Museum and Felixstowe Pier.

Authors include Michael Arditti, Sir Vince Cable, Martin Kemp, Kate Hamer, Alex Hourston, Jenni Murray, Stephen McGann, Ruth Dugdall, Juliet Nicolson, Mark Billingham, Liz Trenow, Julie Welsh, Blake Morrison, Simon Scarrow and Elizabeth Chadwick.

Festival cafe and bookshop at The Orwell Hotel in Hamilton Road.

Tickets available online from the Festival website. Most adult events cost £9.00 per person (£7.00 per person for concessions). Felixstowe Library will be hosting a cash-only ticket desk every Tuesday from the 24 April. Box Office (Wolsey Theatre) 01473 295900.
