About us

Visit Felixstowe is the official tourism organisation for the seaside town of Felixstowe in Suffolk.

It is managed and funded by Felixstowe Business Improvement District (BID) and promotes the town as a great place to visit throughout the year to the benefit of the local visitor economy, which is estimated to be worth more than £54m per annum.  We aim to grow that by marketing the town throughout Suffolk, the East of England and beyond.

Felixstowe is the largest seaside town in Suffolk, and a visitor destination for holidays, short breaks and day trips.

We encourage visitors to discover the many assets of the town including the award-winning beaches, the vibrant town centre with its mix of independent and high street names, and encourage guests to also discover the charms of Felixstowe Ferry and Landguard peninsula, which all add to the unique offer of Felixstowe.

We work closely with Felixstowe Town Council, East Suffolk Council and Suffolk County Council, alongside other tourism organisations including the Landguard Partnership, The Suffolk Coast DMO, Visit Suffolk, Visit East of England, Visit England and Visit Britain to ensure the Felixstowe tourism industry is represented at a district, regional and national level.
