About Langer Park
Set between the road and railway, Langer Park is an oasis of green open space with its mature trees and children’s play area. Just five minutes from the seafront, this is a great place for a game of footie or a relaxing picnic on the grass.
Take a walk beside the shallow stream which is all that remains of Walton Creek which ran from Felixstowe Dock Basin to the Ordnance Hotel. It was largely filled in when the railway line was built in 1875-77.
