About
Dan Grover and his team have made quite an impact at our ONLY town centre pub since taking up the baton 3 years ago: smashing industry standards and raking in really flattering reviews reflect the hard work that has gone into making The Grosvenor so special.
We all know about the sports coverage that The Grosvenor is famous for (stand by for the new 4k 82″ TV!), but take another look and you will find a whole new chapter of features to bring in fans of all persuasions: there’s regular karaoke nights, classic and themed discos, live music, quiz nights and recently a very popular open mic night.
Backed by team Dan, Gill, Paul and Sophie, Dan and wife Lucy somehow manage to run a young family as well as a busy pub and their community support is also ongoing with the local charities they fundraise for.
It’s not just pub grub on offer amongst the clean and airy tabled areas: small eats, tapas style, family pleasing classics as well as roast dinners and nibbles across a really inspiring menu.
What really hits you once you’ve been ‘wowed’ by the stunning floral displays at the front and into the soon to be revamped rear beer garden, is the warm welcome, ready smiles and the sense that everyone is having a good time with great service on hand.
If you’re a visitor to Felixstowe, we’re trying to train you to TURN LEFT into Orwell Road once you hit the Hamilton Road crossroads by the TSB Bank:
A whole collection of indie shops awaits you including 2 record shops, a vegan cafe, 2 homeware and gift shops, a photographers, 2 polish shops and a cracking chippy. Turn left again into Ranelagh Road to find The Grosvenor. 2 mins walk from the town centre (we’re working on a sign!) just follow the sound of people having a good time. Follow Grosvenor Facebook for events, news and offers.
