The Carnival weekend is Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July 2023.
Start your Carnival weekend on Friday evening with a live swing band on the main stage in the beach side events area. Bring a picnic and enjoy their proms concert. They will provide the flags!
Saturday starts with their traditional procession 1pm and moving through the town to the seafront on their normal route. The Carnival continues Saturday and Sunday on the seafront.
Between their main stage and the family area there is something for everyone to enjoy and all the entertainment is free. Don’t forget to meet the Dinosaurs, visit their craft fair in the Leisure Centre, the beachside traders and their food court and bar.
They will finish the weekend with a spectacular Fireworks display at 10pm off the pier.

Please consider sparing them something extra to keep their annual tradition going. Look out for buckets, their donation station for tapping cards and new for this year they are embracing technology and have a QR code for donations.
