Felixstowe Photo Competition 2021

October 13, 2021

The seaside town of Felixstowe in Suffolk is a unique, exciting and diverse location for photographic opportunities – seaside fun, beautiful gardens, huge container ships, historic buildings and rich wildlife habitats.

This year’s Felixstowe Photo Competition, which is organised and supported by Visit Felixstowe, Felixstowe Town Council and the Landguard Partnership, attracted just under 100 entries from all ages (9 to 81 years) and abilities over three different themes – Architecture, Seashore and Young Photographer.

Following an online public vote, the top eight photos were selected – four from each of the Architecture and Seashore themes. Together with the seven Young Photographer photos, a panel of judges, including the Mayor of Felixstowe then selected the overall “Judge’s Choice” Winner.

We are pleased to announce the winner of the Felixstowe Photo Competition 2021 is Tiago Pereira from Ipswich with his dramatic shot of Cobbold’s Point (pictured to the left). Tiago’s photo was entered into the ‘Seashore’ theme.

Councillor Mark Jepson, Mayor of Felixstowe said: “Once again this year’s entries have been outstanding and really show the rich variety of landmarks and attractions of our seaside town. Congratulations to Tiago, and we would also like to thank everyone else who took the time to enter this year’s competition”.
