Come and join the 95th Rifles military re-enactment group.
A weekend of soldiering, musketry and drill.
Visitors to Landguard Fort at Felixstowe will be able to discover more about the life of a Napoleonic soldier at a special living history event this weekend.The 95th Rifles military re-enactment group will be camping at the monument for two days of soldiering, musketry and drill demonstrations. There will be opportunities to talk to the re-enactors about the lives of the soldiers.
The 1st 95th Rifles visit Landguard Fort re-enacting this elite regiment of the Napoleonic era.
Period from 1803 to 1815. They will be cooking and eating authentic rations and practising the drills and tactics that were refined on battlefields over 200 years ago. Dramatic battles and skirmishes.
This event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm Normal admission charges apply.
