One of the biggest art exhibitions in Felixstowe! With over 40 artists and creatives displaying their work, family friendly art activities for visitors and more! The art market is held at Beach Street Felixstowe, under ‘The Shed’ at Manning’s Amusements, Felixstowe, IP11 2GN. It’s also free to attend.
In late 2022 we established an art festival called Art at the Beach for local artists to showcase and sell their work at Beach Street Felixstowe. The aim was to strengthen the local art community and make art accessible to everyone.
Our art festival (Art at the Beach) was created due to many of us missing the well known event, Art on the Prom and as a nod to our inspiration, we titled our event Art at the Beach. However, now that Art on the Prom has returned, we have decided to rename our festival to ‘art market’ as to not cause any confusion between the two. Both events are so important to the local art scene and our local economy. We are very excited that Art on the Prom is returning to the town in September 2023 and we fully support Art on the Prom in their endeavours.
