On Friday December 20th, the town ramps up the excitement with the ever-popular opening of the free ice rink at Great Eastern Square. Visitors can glide across the ice while enjoying the arrival of the Santa Express at Felixstowe Station and Santa himself in his pop up grotto at Felixstowe Wellbeing Hub.
Local musicians will be setting the Christmas atmosphere, along with Freshgold Radio. With a free children’s craft workshop by Paint to The People and Ocean Boulevard’s mini funfair, we’re looking forward to a fabulous and festive opening day of the ice rink. Weather permitting, the ice rink and funfair will remain open until the afternoon of December 23rd, promising endless festive fun.
